Hi! I’m Chris A. Hanson
I was born in Muskegon Michigan in February of 1979 to a teenaged single mother. Raised most of my childhood in my grandparents’ home. I was a very active young man playing baseball, and football, and very interested in motorsports, dirt bikes, snowmobiles, and race cars. School was typically easy for me, and I used that time as my social outlet and would be in trouble for talking and joking around in class. I began a family right out of high school and never finished college. I had grand plans to become a mechanical engineer but found enjoyment in manufacturing operating manual machines, programming, installing, and servicing machines.
Starting a family at such a young age, I found that I had a lot to learn. I was more interested in my aspirations than those of my young wife. This made things difficult, and I found myself making several bad decisions that nearly ruined our family. Although I had attended some Sunday school and youth group as a child, I hadn’t met Jesus until I was about the age of 27.
We had found a great small church that a childhood friend was involved with and attended for several years. My issue was that I wasn’t really serious about my faith and allowed one conversation with the pastor to turn me away from the church. Had I found someone who would disciple me, I may not have taken that conversation out of context and not turned from the Lord.
It took several years to turn me back from sin and the moment was like thunder from the sky, a loud answer saying “NO.” At that point, I sought the Lord for the direction I was to go and I cannot turn back now.
In the fall of 2021, I began studying with The Supernatural Ministries Training Institute. God has led me to correct all the lies around manhood. Men receive such conflicting views on what it actually means to be a man.
I want to direct the questions of manhood back to our Creator and the proper order He planned for us right from the beginning.
